If the Automated checkbox is selected when the Walkthrough button, Progressimo will run a series of automated walkthroughs.

Automated execution completes when either the specified number of executions has been completed, or when you press the walkthrough stop button. You can also pause and resume the execution using the pause/play button.

Automated walkthrough mode uses a random sampling approach in order to give you a quick, rough idea of the kind of play-throughs you might expect from your progression design. It steps through the progression plan by randomly selecting and executing moments that are “playable” (i.e. respects gameplay gates and progress blockers). It continues stepping through until either all “playable” nodes have been executed or until it hits a moment tagged as a “game over” moment. has been executed.
During execution you can view the on-going results of the walkthroughs being summarised in a table in the top right-hand corner. You can view the lowest, highest and median final value of each progression element.

One the automated walkthrough has completed, the results can be browsed and viewed via the Paths and charts window, which opens automatically at the end. This feature can be turned on or off in the Walkthrough settings.
